Map Guide – Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, Tokyo
Shinjuku Gyoen Map
Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden covers over 58 hectares and is divided into multiple themed areas, ponds, lawns, and walking paths. Without checking the layout first, you may end up walking more than planned or skipping sections you actually want to see.
You can get printed guides and additional information at the Information Center near the gate. However, reviewing the map before you arrive helps you see the full layout in advance.

With this map, you can decide:
- Which train station is most convenient for you
- Which gate to enter (Shinjuku, Okido, or Sendagaya)
- Which garden area to prioritize
- Where the restrooms and rest houses are located
- Where to stop for food or coffee after walking
Planning ahead makes your visit more efficient, especially if you have limited time or prefer a relaxed walking pace.
